This light bulb is well constructed — didn’t seem flimsy or feel like some part was going to fall off. The light output is also very even in all directions, and even after running for hours, this light is only slightly warm to the touch. The only downside is that it’s light output is also quite dim — on the order of a good, strong candle light level — this truly is an “accent” light bulb.

This is about as bright as a dim 5 watt incandescent bulb. Anybody who says different is selling them or works for them. My pure white 2 watt cold cathode 20,000 hour CFLs are a little brighter than a 25 watt incandescent… much brighter than these & only cost me each.
