I am very pleased with the performance of this water heater. I have burnt up coils before, in just a few days, so I was reluctant to spend the money. I’m glad that I did. This heater worked fabulously on a 3 week trip to Peru at 220 voltage, and a week in Jamaica at 110, and is still going strong. It can bring water to boiling surprisingly fast. It takes up very little space in the suitcase too. I’m taking this baby with me everywhere I travel.

I looooove this gadget! It heats water real quick and it’s very lightweight. I am a flight attendant and I fly international and in most foreign countries other than UK and France it is hard to find a Water Heater in the room. It’s dual voltage so its a plus for me. I put it in a little puch and throw it in my suitcase and there we go. It’s very lightweight and the cord wraps around it nicely.Also it brought a little 110 plug,how sweet.It’s been already to Africa and Paris,not that you can’t get a great cup of cafe au lait in Paris.But it’s very convenient while I’m getting ready having a nice cup of tea or coffee. Haven’t tried for soups yet,but I guess it’ll do the trick as well.I totally recomend it.

This heater works as advertised! The adjustments for temperature and the 220v hookup should be done by someone comfortable with these tasks – the instructions are not as clear as they could be. The indicator light is very helpful it adjusting the flow as it indicates when the unit is on (there is a click also).

This product is perfect for homes where the space is an issue or for locations distant from heating source.

The first heater we received and installed was mulfunctioning. After discussing the troubleshooting with BOSH, Amazon the same day we contacted them sent us new replacement. Returning the first heater could be easier. Thank you Amazon.com!

My electric panel was just some year new, we did not have to provide any additional works besides wiring the heater. I saved all closet space(where I had located 30gal. el water heater) for other use. Heater is very small, it would easily fit under the sink. Temperature of hot water can be adjusted to your needs. 2 gallons of hot water per minute are good enough. According to professional installer, the heater is so simple device, that it should not have any additional problems.

I am very happy with the product and am starting considering this type of hot water heater for whole house, no matter price for electrical works.

Where the space is an issue, this product is one of great solutions.

I am highly recomanding this heater.

Update: I am flattered that some have read my review, so I feel I should add some points. I had bought 4 of these (due to the low cost and saving on S/H), and am still using the first one which has saved me sacks of money and time (the inconvenience of having to leave wherever you are, go stand on line and fish for change, etc), but there are some (not necessarily negative) observations. 1- be careful about tipping over; the weight and the wire can cause a nasty spill, especially when hot, so place it in a safe corner. 2- in a 16-20 oz container, the lower portion will not boil, due to the poor conductivity of water. We are used to boiling water from the bottom up, so when we see bubbles, its done; but here, we are boiling from the top down, so the bottom will not be at 212F deg. 3-don’t walk away too far, cause it can boil away and might cause damage. ENJOY!!

I was searching for something that would provide me with a quick, convenient (and free)large cup of tea or coffee. I tried the smallest electric pot available (320z), but was still to large to carry in my bag and often awkward to use. I considered mug warmers, but realized they would not have enough wattage. I came across immersion heaters, and chose the lowest priced one to try out. I would have paid for these. Fits in your pocket, convenietly attaches to a mug, and heats to boiling w/in 3-4 min. Just do not plug in until immersed in the water, and unplug before taking it out, and let cool. Works perfectly. Even heats soup!! The vendor (not Amazon) sent by DHL in 3 days.

Product performs as expected. the one bit of advice to anyone purchasing this item is READ and pay heed to the INSTRUCTIONS! I went through 2 before I realized the reason they didn’t last long was that I was letting the liquid go past the point of damaging the heater. in other words don’t walk off while it’s immursed for it takes one time and one time only to damage it. It takes about 5 minutes to heat water to 180 to 190 degrees perfect for tea. if you do this it will last a long time.

Quick & Hot Instant 190 Degree Hot Water Dispenser with Satin Nickel Finish Faucet Reviews

I bought this water dispenser to replace an older unit (different brand) that began to leak after two years of use. I searched around for the best price and at 4.00 this is the lowest I found anywhere. Of course, I cannot say how long this unit will last, but by the way it was packed and the look and feel of all its parts, I’m confident it’ll last for a while…at least longer than two years.

Installation was a snapped; insert the faucet through the hole in the sink, install three quick disconnects…two going to the tank and one going to a cold water pipe, turn the water, fill up the tank by opening the faucet, plug the unit in and turn the thermostat to high. And just like that, in a few minutes, instant hot water.

Other thoughts: The cold water quick disconnect includes a very small metal filter. If your supply water is not of high quality or if you have hard water issues, most probably the filter will get clogged often. You can remove the quick disconnect to clean the filter, but it might be an inconvenience or you might end up having a bad water leak later on. I didn’t install the filter, opting to hook up the water dispenser to an osmosis drinking water system. Also, the house has a water softener, which prevents calcium formation on appliances and plumbing.
